I think this would have been a great lead-in for the fact that the Biden administration was really sticking its neck out by sharing their intelligence about Russia’s plans, including their plans to do false-flag operations to "justify" their invasion.

It seems to me the US officials were both preparing Ukraine for the invasion and trying to deter Russia from going through with it (except for promising not to send in American troops, which may have emboldened Putin). This was a risky move on the US side, because if Putin aborted the invasion, lots of people like this vlogger would have pounced on it as proof of their belief that the US is just creating trouble with its groundless accusations.
